International marketing company seeks in-house native-English copy editor/translator, to be based in our offices in and around Nagoya city.

Description
Responsibilities include editing and translating automotive-related manuals and a wide variety of internal marketing documents. Successful candidates will work in a Japanese office environment as part of an international team, and will be expected to participate in meetings, as well as occasional report writing and presentations.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have excellent written English skills, with keen attention to details of expression and grammar. The position will include learning the basics of automotive technology, terminology, and business practices, so an interest in cars is advantageous, as is experience in a Japanese business environment. Translation experience is preferred but not essential, provided the candidate can demonstrate a high level of Japanese language ability.
