Job Responsibilities
Translate technical documents from Japanese to English, including user manuals, release notes, installation instructions, as well as some marketing material. Also interpret at meetings/classes, with some travel.

Job Requirements

• BA/BS in a language-related field, or equivalent
• Three to 5 years of experience translating technical documentation (especially in the semiconductor field) required
• Solid interpretation skills very desirable
• Familiarity with steppers/scanners desirable
• Knowledge of Trados software very desirable
• Strong technical/colloquial Japanese and excellent English communication skills required
• Must be flexible with strong customer focus, time management, and communication skills
• Able to interact successfully in a highly multicultural workplace
• Able to maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field
